If you have never been to Second Life..... It is a wonderful place. It has enormous potential. And you can love it there.
There is also a lot to learn. There are no dummies at Second Life.
Second Life also has a lot of frustrations in that learning experience. But still worth it. So just expect that there will be frustrations.
Most people are glad to help. You like getting help, right? One good resource is Katey's Academy for Newbies. Do "newbie academy" in search and you will find it.
There is also a problem with being lonely. That's caused by a general lack of social structure at Second Life. IMO, that is mostly a female responsibility, and I hope sooner or later you will join me in making Second Life a better experience for everyone.
